He would not predict Heaven that an Academic publication –there’s much too much soul here for this –but it’s decidedly a reference, intended to be dipped to occasionally. The perfect method to learn from this publication is to cook your way through it over the span of many decades (ideally peppering the encounter with excursions to China for a few firsthand analyses, naturally).

That is quite the point, I presume. Nation, with areas and sub-regions and diverse cuisines within those Sub-regions and spiritual subsets of these cuisines, and nearly all of these operate beneath their ingredient and procedure vernaculars.
